Druk Foundation Ltd. (DFL) is committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. Our goal is to give you as much control and information as possible regarding your personal information and the use we make of it in the course of our activities.

DFL will never sell, rent or disclose your personally identifiable information to outside parties without your consent unless compelled by law or court order to do so. With your permission, DFL may send you email regarding our new activities, campaigns, or select information.

What Information We Gather and Track

There are times when we may need to collect information from you through our Web site. This generally involves filling out forms so you can contribute to an DFL project. We require you to fill out a form with your name and email address. During this process, you are given the opportunity to decline further email notification of important news and events. In addition, you can remove yourself from the mailing list at any time by following the unsubscribe information in all our emails.

When you submit a contribution online, your credit card number will be submitted to the credit institution for normal, routine processing. DFL does not share credit history or credit card information with other companies or third parties, unless compelled by law or court order to do so. DFL does not store your credit card information in any way.

What We Do With the Information We Gather and Track

The personally identifiable information gathered from the forms you fill out on our Web site is used in three ways:

To provide you with information about projects, services, news and events;
To allow you to contribute to DFL; and
To gather broad demographic information about supporter trends.

DFL retains the services of certain outside contractors to perform services on our behalf (for example, to assist with credit card processing). At times, we must disclose relevant information about our customers to our contractors so they may provide specific services for DFL. DFL requires such contractors to keep your information strictly confidential and to use the information solely on behalf of DFL. For purposes of this Privacy Statement, such contractors are not considered "third parties" and DFL may disclose personally identifiable information to such contractors without additional notice.

In addition, the DFL Web sites contain links to other Web sites. However, DFL is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

DFL will use reasonable efforts to comply with this privacy statement and will take prompt corrective action when it learns of any failure to comply with its privacy statement. Because of the complex and constantly changing nature of technology, DFL does not guarantee error-free performance under this privacy statement.

DFL shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or punitive damages relating to this privacy statement.
